Sunter Lake Arrangement Continued

North Jakarta Government arranges Sunter Lake Area, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. Not only for aesthetics, but also for Sunter Lake Festival preparation since it will be held on February.

We want this area becomes neat

Based on Beritajakarta monitoring, there are 280 joint personnel arranged the area, such as doing trees pruning and sidewalk repair. Besides, several illegal buildings also have been controlled.

North Jakarta Vice Mayor, Junaedi said, arrangement is needed to make Sunter Lake area more beautiful.

280 Joint Personnel Gathered for Sunter Lake Arrangement

"This is a part of Sunter Lake Festival. We want this area becomes neat," he expressed while lead arrangement work, Thursday (1/18).

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. Head, Yunaldi mentioned, his side will elevate sidewalk into 30 centimeters to prevent bikers passes by on sidewalk.

"We will provide jogging track and bench facilities. Arrangement is targeted to complete in middle of February," he explained.

North Jakarta Small Medium Cooperation and Trade Sub-dept. Head, Arfian added, street vendors should be replaced to food court that will be built in the south side of Sunter Lake.

"Tonight, we will prepare temporary location for 18 PKLs . Food court construction takes around 1 month to complete," he informed.
